Dedicated TorBox servers
Perhaps allowing users to buy servers dedicated to their torrents, making more of a seedbox-like addon, which you can also manage the storage yourself and have access to. Basically a dedicated VPS with TorBox integrated.

In addition with this, socks5 would be pretty great. Sometimes I need to use the same IP as my seedbox and being able to relay that IP is pretty crucial.

Just wanna comment and this feature would definitely be awesome as described. I would definitely pay for this type of seedbox plus the regular torbox debrid service fee.

I didn't understand before but now this makes more sense.
I'd like to have just a normal 2 TB seedbox, but with the perks of Torbox:
Caching (gets more interesting as the community grows!)
(future) Usenet download
(possibly) backfill from RD
This would be useful because
10 active is very limiting, many trackers ask for 2 weeks or more minimum seeding time, and I usually download a lot more than 10 torrents every 2 weeks.
Stable IP to announce it to the trackers that ask for it
If I do it separately on my side it costs something like:
6$ for a 2tb seedbox
3$ for Real Debrid
4$ for Usenet (with a good black friday deal)
I think I would pay 15$ for having a great all-in-one experience. Maybe more if the community grows a lot and caching in private trackers becomes amazing.
I don't know how the apps would work though. Since the advantage of such a service would be to watch what's cached, why use plex over one's own library? Better to connect it to stremio on Webdav..

Your add up makes a lot of sense. I think around $15 is pretty fair, honestly, I would pay for that rather than TorBox. Especially if you are able to add other apps, that would be awesome.
You likely won't get a command line (ssh) but things like FTP, WebDAV, a control panel, and such would be good. It would likely use the TorBox basic website, except now you are linked directly to your own server. You would still have reliance on the Satellite Network to provide you with updates. Basically everything will be exactly the same as normal TorBox, but you have a set amount of storage, no limit on torrents, no limit on seeding times, and dedicated disk iops. You will still have access to cache, usenet and such.
Will do some more thinking on this. Will likely be done before the end of 2024, but is lower on the task list due to basically needing to redo most of the backend of TorBox to support such server setups.

Any updates on this? As you said I know it will come after other features, but just wanted to know how the plans about it!

Is there any update related to this or any way to fix the problem of private trackers requiring a single IP, be it by us providing our own sock proxy or what the commenter proposed or anything else? 🥺

With this you could add Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby onto the server to watch the content you download. You could also set up private FTP/WebDAV servers and such.
