When a file is selected and the user clicks on download. It should not navigate you to another page, but instead open in a modal or a drawer. too many clicks and would simplify the UI and remove the extra clicks
The reason it is on another page is for space concerns. There is a lot of information to show and possibly a lot of download files which is not feasible to just keep in a modal.
A solution could be have now 2 buttons, one a "Quick Download" and one a "Selective Download".
The "Selective Download" will take you to the download page like it is currently, but the "Quick Download" will download the only file in the torrent (if there is only one file to download) or download the torrent as a zip (if there is more than one file to download). How about it?
